Filmed by my good friend John Young in Sydney's largest and steeziest bowl '5 dock', this edit shows off the skills we most appreciate from riders of Benn Pigot's calibre, his ability to go ridiculously high and make it look so easy have been so well captured by John's craft behind the lens, some amazingly beautiful shots as the sun goes down over the bowl have me dreaming of the land down under again.
Loads of people been waiting for this to come out for the last few weeks, well its finally here and not a disappointment let me tell you.....make a cuppa tea and sit yourself down for this
OSS 'Ruin your whole summer' is the 3rd full length dvd/edit from this crew. It features full parts from Alex Raban, Alex Donnachie, Alex Platt, Diego "Mono" Navarro, Matty Long, Zach Krejmas, Charlie Crumlish and Craig Passero plus footage from the rest of the team and all our friends. Stevie Churchill, Mike Mastroni, Tate Roskelley, Gabe Brooks and a good bunch of their friends.
Jack Birtles is one of United's "World" team. They made a really good choice in hooking him up as he is a bloody legend. Some unusual lines and moves here, well worth the watch!
The new DIG BMX Mag has landed. Since DIG became "free" , each issue has had a theme. This issue is titled (?) Creative Control. So, what can you expect inside? Interviews with the likes of one of Animal's design team - Jay Dyer, BSD's video and graphic powerhouse - Dave Sowerby, Utah's personification of "outside the box" - Tate Roskelly and so many more. For those of you who value substance and thought over trends, this is definitely going to be a good read! Good stuff.
So, BSD sent some of their PROs to Athens, Greece in hopes of adding to their rather impressive list of cinematic efforts... They nailed it. Big moves from the lads.
Quite frankly, this is ridiculous. Alex Kennedy provides some next level moves and Rich Forne does a bloody amazing job of capturing everything. So so so impressed. Really creative work on both sides of the lens. MUST WATCH.
Bit late on this one! Jay kills it in Paris. Will Evans did a great job as usual. Either way, enjoy!
Well now, here's a top drawer edit from Michal Pudelko. Top. Drawer.
This one's from the Cork City Skatepark Jam that went on a week and a half ago.
Some great riding went down and from all I hear, everyone enjoyed themselves.
Cheers to Quin and Cork City Skatepark for putting this on.
Barry Smyth put out a rather banging edit. BANGING. Barry Smyth is also an old Northern English slang term for barspins. There you go.
I don't know if you've all been following the SOSH Urban Motion event, but it's been responsible for some very cool videos. Armed with I-Phones, a rider and a filmer are FORCED AGAINST THEIR WILL to make a video on the streets of Paris. The results so fair have been brilliant, but today it was revealed that Boardroom family member Peter Adam and his muse, Alex Donnachie (also a BSD Pro-team) received a well-earned second place. Amazing.
Some days, it's the little things that restore my faith in people and BMX.
